Jewellery Care
At Kuddli, every piece of jewellery is designed with love, crafted with care, and finished with the cutest koala details. We want your Kuddli treasures to stay as dazzling as the day they arrived—so here are our top tips for keeping your jewellery sparkling, shiny, and ready for every adventure!
1. Put On Last, Take Off First
Perfume, lotions, and hairspray can dull your jewellery’s shine over time. Make it a habit to put your Kuddli pieces on after you’re finished getting ready, and take them off first at the end of the day. This simple step helps protect your jewellery from chemicals and keeps it looking fresh.
2. Avoid Water and Chemicals
While koalas love a good eucalyptus bath, your jewellery doesn’t! Always remove your Kuddli pieces before swimming, showering, or washing your hands. Water and harsh chemicals can cause tarnishing, especially for gold-plated and silver pieces.
3. Store With Care
When you’re not wearing your Kuddli jewellery, keep it cosy in a soft pouch or lined box. Avoid tossing pieces together, as this can lead to scratches or tangling, especially for delicate chains or gemstone pieces. Pro tip: Use your original Kuddli pouch for safe travels and storage!
4. Clean Gently
A quick wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear keeps your jewellery looking its best. For a deeper clean, use mild soapy water and a soft brush, then dry thoroughly. Avoid silver dips, ultrasonic cleaners, or any harsh chemicals, these can damage the finish and those adorable koala details.
5. Special TLC for Plated and Gemstone Pieces
Gold-plated and gemstone jewellery need a little extra love. Be gentle, avoid knocks and drops, and store them separately to prevent scratches. If you notice your plating starting to wear, it might be time for a professional touch-up.
6. Travel Smart
Taking your Kuddli sparkle on the road? Always use a dedicated jewellery pouch or box. This prevents accidental tangling and ensures your pieces arrive just as cute as when you packed them.

Regular Cleaning is Key
One of the most important aspects of Kuddli jewellery care is regular cleaning. Using a soft cloth, gently wipe your jewellery after each wear. This simple practice helps remove oils and dust, preventing corrosion. You can also soak your Kuddli jewellery in warm soapy water for a few minutes if it looks particularly dull. However, avoid harsh chemicals, as they can damage the delicate materials.
Proper Storage Techniques
Proper storage is essential to maintain the beauty of your Kuddli pieces. Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, preferably in a lined box or a soft pouch to avoid scratches. Individual compartments are ideal so that pieces don't rub against each other, which can cause wear and tear. Also, keep them away from direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can cause fading over time.
Periodic Professional Maintenance
Although regular care at home is vital, periodic professional maintenance for your Kuddli jewellery is also necessary. Consider taking your jewellery to a professional jeweller at least once a year. They can check for loose stones and perform necessary cleaning and polishing. This proactive approach can help catch any issues early, so you can enjoy your jewellery for years to come.
